Meet The Staff

Mrs. Barta has over 20+ years of experience in a classroom of early childhood education as well as being the Director of a preschool in Chicago. Currently, she is the Assistant Head of School t at Redeemer during the school year. She is a graduate of Rollins College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. When Mrs. Barta is not teaching little ones, she is enjoying time with her own children, Parker and Grace.

Mrs. Schroeder has been teaching at Redeemer for the past 18 years. Currently she Teaches the 5 Day 3s and is the Coordinator of the afternoon Lunch Bunch program at RPDS.  She is a graduate of Stevenson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Leadership. She has also worked as a swim instructor, Varsity Badminton Coach, camp counselor as well as teaching infants through 10 year olds. Mrs. Schroeder is looking forward to spending the summer with her 3 children, husband and at Play & Grow Camp.

Mrs. Zuidema has over 15 years of teaching experience. Currently, Mrs. Zuidema teaches the 2 year olds at Redeemer and works In Early morning drop off. Her daughter Pippa and sons Henry and George attend Redeemer Parish Day School. She has a degree in Speech Pathology with a minor in Spanish from Loyola University. In her free time, Mrs. Zuidema enjoys running, and spending time with friends and family.
