Mrs. Barta has 20 years of experience in a classroom of early childhood education as well as being the Director of a preschool in Chicago. Currently, she teaches Pre-first at Redeemer during the school year. She is a graduate of Rollins College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Barta was an All-American tennis player in college and continued her passion for the sport by coaching at the high school level for many years. When Mrs. Barta is not teaching little ones, she is enjoying time with her own children, Parker and Grace.
Mrs. Schroeder has been teaching at Redeemer for the past 13 years. Currently she Teaches the 5 Day 3s and is the Coordinator of the afternoon Lunch Bunch program at RPDS. She is a graduate of Stevenson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Leadership. She has also worked as a swim instructor, Varsity Badminton Coach, camp counselor as well as teaching infants through 5 year olds. Mrs. Schroeder looks forward to when her son Freddie will be old enough to attend Play & Grow and is thrilled that her daughter Ella will be a counselor again this year!
Mrs. Zuidema has over 15 years of teaching experience between Redeemer Parish Day School and St. Paul's Plus. Currently, Mrs. Zuidema teaches the 2 year olds at RPDS. Her daughter Pippa attends Redeemer Parish Day School and will be followed by her son Henry in a few years. She has a degree in Speech Pathology with a minor in Spanish from Loyola University. In her free time, Mrs. Zuidema enjoys running, playing tennis and walking her dog, Callie.
